Commitment to Service and National Security
Brett Christenson serves on the Advisory Board of Shepherd’s Watch, bringing 20 years of elite tactical experience from the U.S. Coast Guard’s Deployable Specialized Forces. A decorated combat veteran, he supported critical missions in counter-drug operations, human trafficking interdiction, and counter-terrorism.

Brett served with top-tier units including the Pacific Tactical Law Enforcement Team (PACTACLET) and the Maritime Security Response Team (MSRT), specializing in high-risk maritime interdiction and national security operations. After retiring in 2020, he continued his service as a Weapons and Tactics Instructor with Academi, training U.S. Navy sailors in combatives, weapons proficiency, and close-quarters battle.

Today, Brett is the CEO of OnGuard, a private security company dedicated to operational excellence and mission readiness. He also remains active in the veteran community as Vice President of the Coast Guard Tactical Law Enforcement Association (San Diego Chapter), providing mentorship and support to active-duty and retired service members.
