Service, Leadership, and Impact
Sergeant Jason Rothermund (Ret.) serves on the Advisory Board of Shepherd’s Watch, bringing nearly two decades of distinguished law enforcement experience and leadership. During his career with the Lexington Police Department, he rose through the ranks to become Canine Unit Commander within the Bureau of Special Operations. A highly decorated officer, he earned the Medal of Merit, multiple commendations, and the Kentucky Fire Commission Heroism Award for his service.

As a two-term President of the Fraternal Order of Police Bluegrass Lodge #4, Sergeant Rothermund led contract negotiations and championed key legislative reforms that advanced protections and benefits for law enforcement across Kentucky.

Today, he is the Founder and CEO of 14BRAVO, a technology company providing innovative business solutions and payment processing services that give back to law enforcement, veterans, and working canines. His lifelong dedication to public safety and service continues through his work with Shepherd’s Watch, where he supports collaboration, innovation, and leadership that strengthen those who protect and serve.
